In this context, after American Independence was declared on July 4, 1776, G. Washington was promoted to general commander of all 13 colonies.

In the new federal state system created after the victory of the American War of Independence, G.Washington was elected as the first president of the United States on April 30, 1789. Additionally, G. Washington, who was the first US President to be elected “unanimously” in American history, was loved by the people and was positioned above politics and parties with his approach that prioritized the interests of his nation above all else.

George Washington’s views and personality were developed and established during his childhood and youth in the British colony. Naturally, the basis of his views are freedom and justice. In this context, he, who also served in the founding assembly of America, strived to establish a government system based on freedom and equality during his term of office. He wanted to ensure that the parliament had the weight and power in the new constitution to be created.

He believed that at a time when republics were being established in Europe and western society, there should be a more humble, public-oriented and fair government.
